heaven is whenever

on my second spin through the new hold steady record, it's okay - not as straight up rock songs as 'stay positive' or even 'boys and girls in america' but i'm sure it'll grow on me in time. it's funny once i like a band i have a hard time not getting into their work (besides the new brand new which i'm still on the fence about).

i like the songs - the smidge and the weekenders on first listen (i'm sure this list will grow).
